Acadia Park Mosaic interpretive panel

I was very pleased to see the smiles on the faces of the members of the “Rotary Club of Sackville and Area” when we installed this interpretive panel. The panel tells the story of the wonderful community based mosaic project this group made happen.

Besides interpretive planning and design services, my team and I where responsible for delivering all aspects of the project including text translation, fabrication, printing, and installation. One unique project challenge was to get the footings in the ground before winter fully set in so the finished panel could be installed before the end of March in keeping with the terms of the funding sponsors.

Apparently the exhibit has been included as a Pokemon location in the on-line international game based on the growing profile of the exhibit and its Acadia Park home.

Working with these great people to raise the profile of their wonderful community made this an extra special little project to be a part of.
